As an Intern with DunlapSLK, you will:

  • Participate in a full orientation and training program.
  • Gain firsthand experience into the world of public accounting to help determine your level of interest.
  • Complete accounting and tax training exercises while being mentored by senior members of our team.
  • Provide assistance on “live” audit and tax engagements.
  • Participate in client tours and on-site field work.
  • Complete other accounting-related projects as needed to support the DunlapSLK team.
  • Gain experience and guidance from associates, seniors, managers and partners who have an interest in helping you succeed.
  • Gain exposure to a wide variety of industry specialties. Examples include construction, healthcare, manufacturing, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Receive advice and guidance regarding pursuing your CPA designation.
  • Participate in firm events and team-building and social activities.
  • Experience a flexible work schedule to work around academic responsibilities.
  • Receive financial compensation and help with any academic credit requirements.

You’re qualified to apply for an internship if you are:

  • An Accounting or Finance Major
  • A Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
  • Have the ability to meet our minimum hour requirements: Summer (May – August): 25 hours per week
