DunlapSLK is pleased to announce that L. Brent Kolb, CPA, MT has been named as the firm’s new Managing Director. Brent succeeds Dennis Dunlap, who will continue in his role as one of the firm’s Shareholders. Dennis’ focus will be on continuing to serve clients while also maintaining his position as a member of the firm’s governing Board of Directors, of which Brent is also a member.
Brent has spent the past 30 years in public accounting. In addition to being a Shareholder and serving on the Board, he oversees the firm’s IT department, and provides accounting, tax, and advisory services for privately held companies and family-owned businesses.
“Dennis has provided exceptional leadership over the past several years,” Brent notes. “I am excited about what the future holds for DunlapSLK, and am looking forward to working with our leadership team and phenomenal staff to continue building on our past success and moving the firm forward.”
Brent is a graduate of Ursinus College, Collegeville, Pa., where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Additionally, he earned his Master of Taxation degree from Villanova University, Villanova, Pa. A Certified Public Accountant, Brent is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of Living Branches, Chairperson of the Living Branches Foundation, and a Member of the Dock Mennonite Academy Finance Committee.
