Join us as a part-time or full-time Bookkeeper assisting our clients with their bookkeeping needs.

As a member of our Virtual Bookkeeping Services team you will manage day-to-day accounting services for assigned clients. This includes, but is not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, posting of journal entries, researching and correcting account discrepancies, communicating with client vendors and other related functions. The scope of service will vary depending upon the engagement.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Data Entry/Journal Entry
  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Month End Close
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Communicating with clients on a consistent basis
  • Payroll Entries/401(k) Management

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client engagements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and establish good working relationships with all co-workers
  • Quick learner
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Commitment to providing an exceptional client experience

Extensive knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate knowledge)
  • Microsoft Word (basic to intermediate knowledge)
  • QuickBooks
  • Adobe

The following is a PLUS:

  • Sales and Use Tax knowledge
  • Payroll Tax Filing
  • Bill.com
  • Intacct
  • Xero
  • 2 year degree in accounting
