Focus

As a seasonal member of the Virtual Bookkeeping team, Christie helps clients focus their time and energy on running their business by serving as their offsite bookkeeping department. She handles accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions; invoice generation; check printing and bill payment; bank reconciliations; credit card reconciliation; general ledger and trial balance assistance; and monthly reporting. In addition, working in conjunction with the Payroll Services team, Christie assists with weekly and bi-weekly payroll administration and prepares quarterly payroll tax returns. She also serves as one of the firm’s tax preparation professionals, with a primary focus on individual federal, state, and local tax preparation.

Education

Christie is a graduate of American University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts. In addition, she earned her Master’s Degree from The George Washington University. She is trained and certified as a VITA tax preparer, where she put her skills to work providing free income tax filing assistance for low and moderate income families.
